From Jan 18 till Feb 1 Students Chorus’ Visit to Germany From Jan 18 till Feb 1, Students Chorus, led by Principle Yuan Aijun, paid a visit to Germany and presented several performances. Later, the group went a tour visit to Holland, Belgium, France and Hungary. The chorus’ performances were of a great success and received a warm welcome from both students and their parents in Germany as well as high praises from the local people. A local governor says that the songs of the students got him moved in tears. Every time when the performance was coming to an end, the songs of the audience would join that of the performers’, making many an unforgettable scene. When in Germany, the students stayed separately in their host families. During the short period of time of contact and the exchange of views and ideas, a better understanding as well as friendship was created and the students feel that their minds are widely opened, thus enable our students to ponder more on the culture of oriental and that of the west.
