现代化教育是面向世界的教育，是和世界相通的教育。我们在认识自身民族价值的同时，更要承认和接纳不同的文化。学校本着这一教育理念及为培养具有国际化视野的优秀人才服务的目的开展国际交流活动。为了更好地加强对外交流与合作工作，实验中学于2004年9月成立了国际交流中心。

2004年4月19日 　　接待政府官员：2004年4月19日，莫桑比克教育部长一行4人在教育部对外合作与交流司郑九振司长陪同下来我校参观访问。
Reception of the government officials: On April 19 2004, Education Minister of Mozambique, together with 3 Mozambican officials visited our school accompanied by Director Zheng Jiuzhen of the International Cooperation and Communion Department of Chinese Education Ministry.

2004年7月1日 　　2004年7月1日上午，美国微软公司总裁比尔·盖茨先生在微软公司副总裁陈永正先生的陪同下兴高采烈地来到北师大实验中学参加“教育部-微软公司携手助学”项目百间计算机教室启动仪式。比尔·盖茨先生第一次面对高中学生，发表了富有激情的演讲并回答了学生提出的问题。启动仪式前，比尔?盖茨先生还与袁爱俊校长共同在校园里种下被称为“数字时代”的松树。
On July 1, 2004, president of Microsoft, Mr. Bill Gates, accompanied by Vice President, Mr. Chen Yongzheng, came to visit The Experimental Middle School Attached to Beijing Normal University. This exciting visit was a part of the project called “the Education Ministry of China joins hands with Microsoft to give financial aids to students”. The project started with the opening ceremony of a one-hundred-computer classroom. This is the first time that Mr. Bill Gates has been to a Middle School. He made a passionate speech and answered the questions raised by the students in the face-to-face meeting. Before starting the ceremony, Mr. Bill Gates planted a pine on campus with Principal Yuan Aijun, which was named "digital era ".

10月28日 　　10月28日上午，香港教育界人士访京团一行15人来我校访问，“香港教育界人士访京团”是应教育部邀请来京进行参观访问活动的。袁爱俊校长向客人介绍了我们学校的历史发展与现状，并就以人为本的理念进行教育和管理学生等方面问题与香港教育界人士进行了深入的探讨与交流。随后香港教育界人士听了数学、化学、外语、语文等课、参观了理化生实验室、计算机教室、体育馆、餐厅等教学设施和场所。晚上，袁爱俊校长与我校香港班的师生一起参加了教育部在民族饭店举行的招待宴会。
On the morning of October 28, a group of 15 Hong Kong Educative personages visited our school. This group was on its trip to Beijing for visiting and exchanging under the invitation of China Education Ministry. Principal Yuan AiJun introduced historical development and current situation of our school to the guests, and she carried on deep discussion and exchanged ideas with the educative personages on the issue of educating and managing the student under the students-based principle. Afterwards, group members attended classes such as mathematics, chemistry, foreign language, Chinese Language. They also visited physics and chemistry laboratories, computer classrooms, gymnasium, dinning hall and other teaching facilities. On that evening, Principal Yuan AiJun and the Hong Kong Elite Class, together with the visiting Hong Kong teachers attended the banquet in Minzu Hotel held by Ministry of Education. 		照片 photo
11月21日 　　11月21日下午，袁爱俊校长与美国霍奇基斯学校（美国两任驻中国大使毕业于该校）校长Robert H. Mattoon先生及该校校友约翰?桑顿（John Thornton）先生（高盛集团前全球总裁兼首席运营官、清华大学教授、《全球领导力》课程领导人）亲切会面。会谈中双方表达了两校之间合作与交流的意向，都表示希望结为友好学校关系，并就互派学生、互派教师、在该校开设中文课等问题进行了深入的探讨。
On the afternoon of November 21, Principal Yuan AiJun cordially met Sir Robert H. Mattoon, Principal of American Hotchkiss School (Alma Mater of the past two U.S. Ambassadors to China) and an alumni of this school, Mr. John Thornton (former Global President and concurrently Chief Operating Executive of Goldman Sachs Group, Professor of Tsing-Hua University, Leader of " global leading capacity " course). Both sides expressed sincerely the will of cooperating and exchanging between two schools, and the hope to establish friend-ship tie between the schools. 3月10日 　　3月10日，在实验中学举行了由美国运通公司资助的青年理财课程新闻发布会，运通副总裁何德伟先生（David House）到会。“青年理财”（My Money Business, MMBiz）课程在美国运通公司资助下由国际青年成就中国公司引入北京，该课程旨在向在校高中生传授个人理财方面的基础知识，实验中学成为该课程首家试点学校。
March 10, the news conference on the course of MMBiz (My Money Business) for the youth which is sponsored by American Express Co. held in the Experimental middle school. Mr. David House, vice-president of American Express Co. has attended the meeting. The course, which aims at building up the ability to manage personal money of the high school student at school, was introduced to Beijing by the International Junior Achievement China Agency under the subsidization of American Express Co. 4月8日 　　4月8日我校与美国旧金山尤方玉屏学校结为友好学校。该校从2001年与我校开展友好交流活动，每年该校均有数十名学生在该校司徒林志仪校长的带领下来我校学习交流一周。
On April 8, we established friendship-tie with Alice Yu-Fong Alternative School from San Francisco. The exchanging program between these two schools has been carried on since 2001. 9月2日 　　9月2日下午，在人民大会堂举行北师大附属实验中学香港英才班开班仪式。由实验中学与香港中华青少年历史文化教育基金合作创办了香港英才班。经考试选拔，有8名学生全部来自香港的学生进入该班学习。
On the afternoon of September 2, the opening ceremony of the Hong Kong Elite Class of the Experimental Middle School attached to Beijing Normal University was held in the Great Hall of the People. The Hong Kong Elite Class was established on the cooperation of the Experimental Middle School and Hong Kong History, Culture and Education fund for Junior. 9月29日 　　9月29日下午，我校参加了在北京饭店举行的“北京·香港40所中学缔结友好姊妹学校”的仪式。京港两地最优秀的40所中学结为友好姊妹学校，这将为两地中学加强交流合作，促进基础教育改革和发展起到积极推动作用。我校作为北京20所优秀学校之一，与香港圣公会莫寿增会督中学结为友好姊妹学校，袁爱俊校长和甘知芬校长出席了签字仪式
On the afternoon of September 29, our school attended the ceremony of "Sister-School Established between Beijing and Hong Kong" held in Beijing Hotel. The most outstanding 40 middle schools in Beijing and Hong Kong became friendly sisters school on this ceremony. This movement will strengthen the communication and cooperation between schools in the two places. It will also promote the reform and development of basic education in both cities. 10月24日 　　10月24日中午，德国奥芬堡市席勒中学师生一行46人来到实验中学，拉开中德文化友好交流周的序幕。席勒中学的校长、老师和学生们在实验中学进行了为期一周的交流和学习，通过一系列的交流和展示活动，增进了两国学生间的友谊和相互了解。
On October 24, a group of 46 students and teachers from Sciller School in Offenburger, Germany visited The Experimental Middle School, which opened the prelude of Sino-German culture exchange week. Principal of Sciller School and the students stayed and studied in the Experimental middle school for a week. 11月22日至27日 　　11月22日至27日，我校教学处主任李晓辉前往法国斯特拉斯堡市与斯特拉斯堡市-中国教育协会签订交流协议，并参观访问了克雷贝尔学校，与校方进行了广泛的接触，就两校将进行的互访交流、互派学生等项目进行了探讨。
During 22 - 27 of November, Mr. Li Xiaohui, director of the teaching office, visited the city of Strasbourg of France, and signed the agreement of exchanging programs with the Chinese education association in Strasbourg. 1月11日至20日 　　1月11日至20日，韩国仓原南高中孔维护老师带领10名学生在我校进行了为期10天的学习交流。
During 11 - 20 of January, under the leadership of Mr. Kong, 10 Korean students visited the Experimental Middle School for a ten-day exchange program. 		 
6月7日至9月19日 　　6月7日至9月19日期间，我校先后接待来华学习的外国学生共81人次，他们分别来自美国，德国，韩国，日本，瑞士，瑞典，印度尼西亚等国家。实验中学为他们开设了汉语口语，中国文化，京剧，篆刻，中国工夫，民族舞蹈及音乐等课程，并安排他们参观游览了北京的名胜古迹。我校学生接待了大部分来华交流的外国学生，为他们学习汉语以及更深入地了解中国文化提供了良好的条件。这些外国学生与接待家庭结下了深厚的友谊。
From June 7 to September 19, our school has received 81 foreign students who are from U.S.A., Germany, Korea S., Japan, Switzerland, Sweden, Indonesia, etc. The experimental middle school has offered courses of Chinese spoken language, Chinese culture, Beijing opera, seal cutting, China Kongku, folk dance and music etc. The school also arranged them the sightseeing in the scenic spots and historical sites of Beijing. Majority of the foreign students lived in our students’ home, which had offered a good condition for the foreign students to study Chinese and understand Chinese culture. These foreign students have developed deep friendship with their host families. 		照片 photo
四、 出访交流活动： 从2004年1月至11月底，实验中学共有167人次出访，教师73名，学生94名。其中，参加国际会议16人次，出国培训教师1人次，参加交流项目1人次。

8月1日至12日 　　8月1日至12日，以我校梁侠老师为团长的中国中学生访问俄罗斯代表团赴俄访问交流。该团共50人，我校有5名教师和15名学生参加。

8月26日 　　8月26日，英语教师郝智勇前往美国，参加为其一年的中美教师交换项目。该项目由中国教育交流协会与美中关系全国委员会合作实施。
On August 26, an English teacher of our school, Mr. Hao Zhiyong went to U.S.A. for a one-year exchange projects for Sino-America teachers. This project was carried out by the Chinese Association of Educational Exchange and the National Committee of the Sino-American relation.
 
10月6日 　　10月6日，语文教师尚建军赴日本进行为期一年半的学习培训。
On October 6, a Chinese language teacher of our school, Mr. Shang Jianjun, went to Japan for a 18-month train and study. 		 
11月28日至12月6日 　　11月28日至12月6日，袁爱俊校长等一行四人前往美国洛杉矶ABC学区国际教育研讨会和在南卡罗莱纳州举行的蓝带最佳高中校长会议。
From November 28 to December 6, a group of four, including the Principal Ms. Yuan Aijun went to U.S.A. for an International Educational Seminar held in ABC School District in Los Angeles, and Blue-Ribbon’s meeting for “The Best High School Principals” in South Caroline.
